ABOUT
The Wild Game Dinner is the vision of retired Virginia Game Warden Lt. Dennis Mullins as an outreach event for men and women who love the great outdoors. The 2013 event was the inaugural event held at Camp Bethel in Wise, VA, with over 270 people in attendance. The event featured displays from local hunters and anglers, featuring Elk, Deer, Bear, Skunk and Turkey from hunters as well as Bass, Trout and even a Bluegill from anglers. Adults and children alike had a great time.
THE FOOD
The food is a great success at the Wild Game Dinner. The food is supplied by those in attendance by bringing their wild game speciality and served as a “Crock Pot Luck” by allowing those in attendance to sample the delicious wild game cuisine. There are several Deer dishes including stew, stroganoff and chili beans. Some Elk dishes like Elk stew, smoked loin and spaghetti to include a few are served. There is also Antelope and of course Squirrel gravy on the menu.
Barbecue, Hotdogs and Pizza are also served for those who do not desire the succulent wild game dishes.
SPEAKERS
The dinner features presentations by the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries on new regulations and Black Bears in Virginia.

Door prizes are also an exciting part of the dinner.
